Applause Please!
If you read my "poker face" post you know that C can be a pretty serious kiddo. One thing that has always revved up her little engine is good ol' fashion applause. She LOVES clapping. Yesterday for the first time ever she returned the favor. Right now she is still working on her coordination. She kind of claps like a drunk but I'll take it. It's funny how the little things make me the proudest mother.

isn't it funny how simple things like that make you so happy! It's so fun being a mom and something like clapping or smiling can make your whole day!

Hurray for Campbell. (P.S. I'm giving her some big, drunken-style claps right now).
Just an update. Campbell has further excelled in her noise making. Graduating from simple hand clapping, she has taken up a sort of jaw harp/raspberry, lip strumming that makes a sound much like the stutters of porky pig. What's even better is she will mix in some garbled baby lingo for variety.
