A few things I've learned about my baby...

It's so interesting to watch this little personality unfold in front of me. Campbell is such a funny little girl already. When she is really drowsy her arms kind of lose control and she hits herself in the face. She gets really mad because it startles her and she bursts into tears. Campbell likes her little feet rubbed. I don't plan on spoiling her with this one. It is helpful when she is half asleep and I need her to be completely asleep. She likes to see what is going on around her. When she is crying I will turn her around so that her back is touching my belly and that seems to do the trick. She likes her little bum patted. The combination of singing and the bum pat usually calms her down. I didn't realize how many primary songs I've forgotten the lyrics to. When I run out of primary songs to sing I usually end up fumbling through the chorus of pop songs. Nothing too recent because I am no longer hip when it comes to music. At one time I felt like I was in the know(like 4 years ago). Any who... It's fun to watch my little one grow.

My sweet little Campbell is one month old!

Yesterday Campbell turned one month old. My sister Carly took some really cute pictures of her. If you would like to see my little gal you can check out my sisters blog...chucklesandgrins.blogspot.com. I don't know how to post photos on my blog. I know once I learn I will feel like an idiot because it is probably really simple.
Campbell is getting so big. At least I think she is. When I see someone else holding her she still looks so tiny. We are both experiencing difficulty with our wardrobes. She has a lot of clothes she can't wear because she is so small and I have a lot of clothes I can't wear because I'm too big. I guess we will just hang out together in our loungewear until things change. This too shall pass.
I love my little girl. She melts my heart everyday. Happy one month Campbell!

Is today Monday or Friday?

Believe it or not I have actually had this debate in my head. Since I've had Campbell I really don't know what day it is most of the time. Thank goodness for television to set me straight. I watch way too much tv these days but what do you do at 3am when your baby won't sleep. Any who... I love my sweet little girl. I love being her Mom. She is now 3 weeks and 2 days old. She doesn't know how to do any tricks yet but I will keep everyone posted.
